Treatment

1. Type of production and brief details on Subject/Concept:
i am doing photography in transition as it is different from what the majority of the class is doing, i also find it interesting and i want to learn more about it.
2. Facilities: What facilities do you need for this project list all including software and hardware for the whole project
3. Finance: If you produced this project outside of the college you need to show how much would it cost to hire the equipment that you intend to use.
I will have to buy a camera preferably the Canon 450D which costs £593
I f i cant get the Canon 450D i will get the fujiu finepix which will cost £112
4. Contributors: Who do you need to help this for you project? This includes talent and crew.
I dont think i need a crew but i will be using my friends to take pictures off.
5. Codes of practice and regulation: What regulations to you need to be aware of. Think about college policy as well as regulatory bodies that you looked at in assignment 2, Worksheet 1.6 Regulation and Safety notes
I will not take pictures of people without permission.
6. Presentation: How will you present the pictures? Will you include a soundtrack, think about copy write issues etc.
I will use a soundtrack but i might make something on garageband so i dont have to worry about copyright.
I am doing my photos in transition as i feel it is very interesting and i want to learn more about it. Also i dont think many people will do in transition so i want to attempt it.

Art Photography

Application
Art to me is a way of expressing your feelings and being creative. Art can be anything as long as you are expressing yourself .

Ansel Easton Adams was an art photographer most famous for his picture named Moon and Half dome. He was mostly known because of his black and white pictures of the american west.
Alot of art photographers use conceptual photography. Conceptual photography is the use of an idea or a concept to make a photograph. Even though there are objects used on the photograph it is strictly abstract.
Not many photographers today make their photos black and white, where as in the past it would be used alot more.

 Context
The context of the picture has a majour impact on the art. The surroundings of the picture effects the way you see the art. If it is framed it looks professional and if not it looks pretty amateur. If its stuck on a dull wall it will stand out but it would look less important than others.

Techniques
The picture reaches its audience by being put in a gallery or sold. It may have been seen before seeing as it is just abstract you may have been to the place where the picture was taken before. Most of art photography is not done in a studio it is done outdoors as there are some amazing places to see. But with a studio you could make it exactly how you wanted which is why some artists do that. Most of the art is printed on paper and then framed on a wall.

Fashion Photography

Fashion photography is not really about the clothes as you would usually think. Its just about looking perfect and the photographer captures this in the most suited way. No one is as they look, Everyone has been edited.

Fashion Photography is used mainly to advertise skin products or clothes. They make the models look perfect and put them in an advert for skincare products. Then people think if they use that they will have perfect skin like them.Vogue uses lots of fashion photography for its book

Different photographers use different techniques. For example Cecil Beaton used different scenery which looked kind of magical and he said that he tries to make a new world within the pictures that he creates. His pictures were very theatrical as he was very unique and imaginitive.
